About training for teachers
Our INSET days for teachers are designed to provide further training in philosophy and in the teaching of philosophy at A level, Pre-U, and IB. The training differs depending on the aim of the day:
- to deepen philosophical understanding of specific topics
- developing and teaching philosophical skills, esp. philosophical argument
- preparing to teach the AQA A level in philosophy.
A description of the aim of each training day, together with the programme, is available on the webpage for that day. Please note our training days on philosophical content may share the same title e.g. ‘Epistemology’ but cover different topics. Please check programmes on the website for details.
All our teacher training events have limited places, to enable greater discussion and interaction.
