From 2004, ALP developed the UK's premier web resource for philosophy at A level. From 1 September 2008, all ALP handouts relating to the AQA Philosophy syllabus are hosted by Routledge. ALP continues to offer a variety of free and subscription-based resources:
Why Philosophy? offers six reasons for studying philosophy and comments on possible careers that graduate philosophers can pursue.

Our subscription service
Our subscription service provides over 100 handouts and PowerPoints relating to the new OCR RS (Philosophy and Ethics) syllabus and over 70 relating to the new AQA RS (Philosophy and Ethics) syllabus. The handouts will help teachers and students alike gain a grasp of the essential arguments on a topic, and form excellent tools for planning course delivery and for revision. Subscription is £25 per year, EXPIRING ON 31 AUGUST each year.
