Webinars

About Webinars

A webinar is a live, audio-visual, interactive online seminar. Webinars offer a number of advantages:

  • Convenient time
  • Opportunities to ask questions
  • No travel or supply costs
  • Good value
  • Any online resources included
  • Access webinars within your web browser (no download required)
The ALP Webinar Series

ALP runs a series of webinars for students throughout the year on weekday evenings, 4.00-5.30pm. Between October and March, eight webinars will cover core topics in the four areas of the AQA A Level Philosophy specification – Epistemology, Moral Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion and Philosophy of Mind. Between March and May, webinars will provide support for revision and exam technique.

Webinars cost just £5 (including VAT) per student – capped at £120 (including VAT) per school – per webinar. The price includes copies of the webinar PowerPoint, any handouts and a recording of the webinar.

NB Schools receive one log in, so students need to be seated so as to be able to see one larger screen with sound. In order to manage numbers and payments, we can only take bookings from schools and NOT individual students.

Commissioning Webinars

If you are interested in commissioning a private webinar just for your students at a particular time, on a particular topic, please contact us to find out more.
