This INSET is to deepen teachers’ understanding of the new AQA A Level Philosophy specification from 2017. As well as providing an overview of the syllabus content, including changes from previous specifications, it will cover the distinct approach to philosophy of this specification, e.g. in contrast with understandings of philosophy in Religious Studies, and the implications this approach to philosophy has for teaching and marking.
