This INSET is to support teachers of Religious Studies (and other subjects) switching to the AQA A Level Philosophy specification in 2017. As well as providing an introduction to syllabus content, it will highlight the distinct approach to philosophy of this specification in contrast with understandings of philosophy in Religious Studies. It will deepen knowledge of how philosophy works as argument, and the implications this approach to philosophy has for teaching.
